Bedroom upgrade (by Dave)

Last weekend we decided it was time for some new paint in our bedroom.  We also decided that the original trim needed to go as well, so we declared war on our room.  We aren't done with the project yet, but we hope to be this weekend.  Here are some photos of our progress thus far.



















We'll post some more photos next week and let you see how the trim looks and how my installation of crown molding goes!

Remember the Hydrangea...

A few weeks before we got married we saw some pretty pink hydrangea at Lowe's and got them for the front porch. It was my way of "moving in" before I could actually move in :) The funny thing about that is that once I did move in I quit going in the front door and started parking in the garage. And just a few weeks later they were no longer getting water and attention since I was not passing by each day. What's the saying...out of sight out of mind? So much for my green thumb.

Time to Paint

Stephanie and I decided to paint what will be the new guest room...then we also decided to replace the trim modeling as well. We've got the paint almost complete, but the trim is still waiting for me.
